By my personal experience, I agree that we have to to protect our favourite and costly mobiles. While we’re using our phone so many times, it may fall down or scratches may happen or it may become dusty as well. As per Scott Jantz’s comment in a Quora question, “If you have kids, they have a tendency to be clumsy. It’s in our best interest to have a case to prevent damage.”
Another reason might be to protect it so that it will be in a good condition for resale later or down the road. You get more money for a device with no scratches, dents, or nicks, so it makes sense to protect it if you know you’re going to sell it for the next best thing.
Enough of the protection and preservation (at least for a specific period). There’s another reason why you should get an iPhone case.
