3D Logos

3D logos are very hyped nowadays, it can showcase your room space or make your business area popped with a photorealistic 3D logo. For this article we will briefly share ideas how you can make one also make sure to stay until the end  for the finished product.

Materials you need:

Software used for the design:

Let’s Start!

Step 1: Open CorelDraw: Or use any vector-based software like Illustrator or Inkscape.

Followed by Step 2:  Create a file using CorelDraw: On this part we will create our layout and and start through the process of setting it up for laser.

Step 3: Laser Machine Ready: Once the file is done, we will now be cutting it through using our laser machine. Place your wood inside and start the cutting process.

Now for Step 4: Prime your wood: It may seem not important but trust us you don’t want to skip this part. Why is it vital to prime raw wood before painting? Wood is structured with a porous and fibrous tissue thus it will soak up the paint and a wood primer will help seal the surface to prevent this from happening. Also it will make your wood look smoother, eliminating the paint from going patchy resulting in a nicer finish for your logo.

Step 5: Paint It!: Make sure that your wood primer is totally dry first, touch dry time will take approximately 30 minutes. Then paint it! We used spray paint in a can in particular as we find it’s easier to apply otherwise you can also use any kind of wood paint of your choice.

Then Step 6: Print the photo: While we are waiting for the paint to dry this is the time we can print the image, this will add up to a more photorealistic outcome to our 3D logo.

Step 7: Let’s Glue Everything Together: For this step we will now build our 3D Logo. When the paint has been dried out, grab your would glue and just put all the cut out pieces together like a puzzle.

Lastly for Step 8: Grab the Printed Image: After cutting it out we will attach it along with our 3D logo. Next, place it accordingly where it will match the entire logo as a whole.

Finally, we’re done! Here are the samples of our finished product:

Easy right? Overall we have created a cool project for today that can add an extra vibe to your space.
